After All

Valentines Day. When? Today? Really...Aaaarrgghhh! I can't believe this day, I really can't believe this freaking day! To start it off, I slept very uncomfortably last night due to consistent burning of my abdomen which was also because I got dehydrated the other day, then I woke up too early due to the loud crying of my little cousin because she was spilled with boiling water on her left hand. The weather wasn't that good too, it was raining and the temperature was ice cold enough to make me shiver, and so with cold weather my back ailment once again emerges to its glory (yeah, this day sucks for me, big time). I thought all of those were enough to set my mood but no, oh no no, it's yet to come, I open the computer and what do I get? No Internet Connection. "F". Then I hear someone calling my name, I look outside and see my boyfriend drenched in the cold rain, all wet and freezing all over. Recap-it's only 7:30A.M and I am so so pissed off. I motioned him to come inside the house and he shouts "Flat yung gulong ng kotse! Yung apat na gulong! May nag-trip!" (The car tires are down, all four of them! Somebody messed up with the car!). I freeze. I can't move, I tried absorbing the exact meaning of the words he just yelled. I feel my cheeks getting hotter by the second, I wanted to scream! What the h*ll is wrong with this day? Why us? Why would someone mess with other people's cars? Last night, Ichi was here and when he went home at around 11:00PM, he saw that the car was okay; he parked it in front of the Brgy. Hall because we thought it was "safer" knowing that there were Tanods (sort of guards) just nearby patrolling around the area, but what assistance do we get? Nothing, they didn't even notice the culprit when they were just 2 meters away from the car! And the car was beside a lamp post for heaven’s sake! Light scatters all over the parts of the car and they see no one, no one! God I hate stupid, irresponsible people. They just can't confess that all along their night shift, they do nothing but sleep! You see how we spent bloody Valentine's Day? On the rain, trying to figure out how we could possibly push those useless tires out, those FOUR useless tires out! I hate this day. I really really hate this day!!

I wanted to remain with the "I hate blank" mood. But after all the hard work, after how Ichi was soaked wet in the cold rain, after how he mixed sweat and rain on his face trying desperately to remove the damn tires, after how his newly sent allowance was instantly paid to the vulcanizing shop, after all the curses, after all... He handed me a rose, a simple rosebud with red ribbons. And with that I felt emptied of all the unlucky encounters we had today, just a single rose made it so light. He was saying sorry because he can't buy three roses but only one, and because all his plans for today was washed out with the rain, he looked at me and kissed me, and whispered "Happy Valentine's Day baby" and I could have cried. God I love him. This day proved that we'll always have this kind of problems in the future; that we'll have to expect encounters like that, but after the day has gone, after all, it'll gonna be him and me, and our love...our love. That’ll make us strong… as long as we’re together, even if we’re under the rain, all cold and wet…

Yeah I Know I'm Emo too..

A while ago, around 8:30PM, Ichi and I drove my mom to Daraga. She's going to Manila and then to Tarlac, Pampanga with her brother and cousins because her uncle just died the other day and despite of the miles, they rather attend to the funeral and see their beloved uncle for the last time. I kept teasing my mom because the last time she was in Manila was when I was still in third grade! She looks nervous, I can tell, she's worried about getting lost in the busy streets of the capital of the country, I said it’s okay and that I hope she doesn’t forget my “pasalubong” but I can see that she’s all swelled up with mixed emotions. Suddenly, I missed those busy and noisy streets, I longed for the dusty and well-heated sidewalks of Cubao, the wrought-iron gates of our 'compound' in Pasig, the classy and coño life in Makati, the wonderful and totally tempting night life in all over Metro Manila, and lastly, the huge shopping malls which I drool for. I missed the life I had there, I tend to forget the smell of the province, the view of the mountains and trees and the daily routine I have here. I transform into someone who fits so well with the ever so sassy, yet classy lifestyle of manileños. It's true, I long for everything in there, but deep in my mind, I never want to live my life in Manila. The chaos and traffic and noise and the complicated clockworks of people there can never be adopted by someone like me, yes I love the mania, but the piece of heaven I feel within the still cool winds in the province, I will never trade. You get me? Well never mind me, I'm just blabbering here and I miss my mom! Yes I said it, I already miss mom. Last night, we fought and had a shouting-match, but you see, what's best with my mom is she always gets back to the normal, loving and caring mom in the morning. That's why I'm missing her so much now. As I've said in my previous post, just having my mom's skin close to mine gives me the strength I constantly need. So now I feel vulnerable, scared, I just pray and please bear with my prayers, that my mom be safe always... and happy. Even without her baby girl beside her…

My favorite color (obviously) is Pink! Call me a girly girly but, whatever, I love pink!

My favorite food is Lasagna! Yum yum! Whoohoo, I can hear my tummy rumbling again!

I love watermelon shakes! I especially loved the one served on my 18th debutante's party, it was sooo mouth-watering..hehe


My favorite flower is the Gerber Daisy, I love the radiant colors and the simplicity.


Now who would resist Reese's buttercups? The chocolate and peanut butter is perfectly blended into yummy little buttercups, I crave for this so much! waaaaaaa....


Cartoon Character? It'll be Tinkerbell. When I was a little girl, I loved watching Walt Disney Films, and I instantly fell in-love with Tinkerbell. 


Recently, I've started reading the Shopaholic Series by Sophie Kinsella. I just looove the whole concept of the book as well as of the author. Fab!


My favorite place would be Rome, but I haven't been there yet (someday! hahaha!) Roma here I come!


Another book I love, Memoirs of a Geisha, but the movie didn't meet up to my expectations really.

This is my phone as of the moment, a Nokia 6670. So far this phone has served me with the best satisfaction guaranteed so I'm labeling it as one of my favorites.

My kids! The only animal I can manage is the dog, I've had puppies and dogs for as long as I can remember and until now. I have two black dogs named Kobee and Jannah


One of the most comfortable things to wear on Earth. I have dozens of flipflops, I wear them everyday, I got rid of those high heeled sandals and wedgies eversince I got diagnosed with Levoscoliosis, so now I'm all about flipflops! Yey.

I Am Nature's Lover

Sometimes, you get so tired of everything, work, school, house chores, even watching your favorite TV show..You feel you need change, a diversion, some fresh air, some quiet place. I do feel that all the time, and every time that feeling gets into my nerves, I find myself in my grandmom's place, the only place I can associate with the word "relaxation". Last friday, I went there (again) with my friends, it was supposed to be a weekend escapade, but coincidences happen, it was also my uncle's birthday, and the day after that, my other uncle celebrates his birthday too. So the fun started, we had lots of food to push into our tummies, lots of beer, lots of friends who came over, and lots of laughter. Well, me, I had lots of pictures in my cam as you can see, hehe. We just got back a while ago, and indeed our stay there gave me a heavenly feeling, seeing the sea, feeling the salty air and the smell of the waves made me so much more than relaxed, I was unwinded and reborn. Next weekend, I might find myself again at Sorsogon, having a walk by the Pier, underneath my umbrella, sipping some lemon juice and (yes you've guessed!) taking pictures!

Whew, now my friends who'll read this will know where to find me when I suddenly disappear! Hahaha.. Oooh, I wanna go back there again..
